Lily and Roo launches charity necklace

Lily and Roo has partnered with baby bank charity Little Village to create a necklace for Mothers Day.

The necklace features a heart padlock style and is available in 925 sterling silver and 18ct gold plated on 925 sterling silver.

Customers can choose to have the necklace engraved with a single initial either side of the necklace

It will launch on 16 February 2023 and will retail for £75 and £89 respectively and 50% of the retail price of each necklace sold will go to the charity.

Little Village supports families with babies and children under five living in poverty across London. The charity runs a baby bank network, collecting, sorting and passing on pre-loved clothes and equipment.

Brittany Preston, founder of Lily and Roo, said: “We are delighted as a brand, to partner with a charity so close to our hearts. With the cost of living crisis in the UK, poverty in London is at an all-time high. We hope to raise as much as possible for the charity and the vital work they do.”

Sophie Livingstone, CEO of Little Village, added: “This year looks set to be our busiest yet and we anticipate supporting around nine thousand children. We provide all of the essentials for families going through tough times including buggies, cots, toys and clothes.

“We need as much support as possible if we’re to help so many families this year. We’re absolutely delighted that Lily and Roo are supporting us with this beautiful necklace, proceeds from which will help us to keep babies and young children, warm, clothed, and happy.”
