Mappin and Webb launches official Team GB jewellery line

Mappin and Webb has announced the launch of its official Team GB collection for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The company has launched this exclusive line as part of a new three-year licensing agreement with Team GB.

According to Mappin and Webb the collection captures the “essence of strength, determination, and elegance”.

There are two collections that reflect the Team GB logo, incorporating the Union flag and the Olympic rings.

One is exclusively for Team GB athletes and Olympians and a second collection that will be available to the public.

Both collections feature a range of pendants, bracelets, rings, cufflinks, lace tags, and branded leather card wallets

Each piece has been manufactured by the company’s experienced jewellery craftsmen in its jewellery workshop and studios in London.

The design and manufacturing of the pieces has been overseen by director of jewellery services for Mappin and Webb, Mark Appleby.

Paul Ellis, head of Retail and Licensing at Team GB, said: “The Olympic Games are a celebration of unity, excellence, and national pride, and this collaboration perfectly encapsulates those values. We are excited to see our fans embrace the opportunity to own a unique symbol of Team GB’s success.”

Jason Fitzgerald, retail director at Mappin and Webb, added: “The Olympic Games inspire us all, and our jewellery team have created pieces that reflect the incredible achievements of our athletes. We hope that this collection will serve as a reminder of the dedication and passion that drives Team GB and inspire wearers to reach for their own personal victories.”
