
NAJ appoints Ben Massey as new CEO
The National Association of Jewellers has announced the appointment of Ben Massey as its new CEO.
Massey transitioned to Principal Officer last year, helping lead the NAJ’s Senior Management Team,
His appointment comes after sustained growth for the Association across membership and its education offering.
Gary Wroe, NAJ president, said: “I would like to express my gratitude to Ben on behalf of the National Committee for his dedication and hard work during the recent structural and strategic changes. His contribution has been vital to the Association’s progress and accomplishments. The committee fully trusts that he will continue to lead us towards further growth and success.”
Massey added: “I am grateful for the opportunity to become the Chief Executive Officer of the NAJ and continue to implement our strategy, which aims to deliver better business for our members, for their people and for the Association as the trade body for the professional jewellery industry.
“It is important we work collaboratively as a trade to overcome the known, and indeed the not yet known, challenges and that we also realise the opportunities that exist within the domestic and international markets. I appreciate the National Committee’s trust in me to lead team NAJ to support our members and to represent and positively impact the fantastic industry.”
The National Association of Jewellers represents 2,000 member companies employing 24,000 people.
